About the brief

I started this because AI news was written for people who already knew everything.

I was learning before work, testing tools between a full-time job and four kids, and trying to understand which changes would actually help a non-technical professional finish something.

I needed the explanation I couldn't find anywhere else.

Most AI coverage could tell me what launched. It couldn't reliably tell me whether I needed it, what job it was good for, or what I could safely ignore.

So I built a brief around those questions. Then I kept rebuilding it as readers showed me where the brief itself was becoming another thing to keep up with.

Useful AI news should reduce the number of decisions waiting for you, not increase them.
