Done means
You have a written record of what counted, one honest gap, one thing to finish next, and at least one item you have consciously stopped carrying.
Here were my goals for [time period]: [paste them]. Here is everything I actually completed, started, changed, stopped, or added: [paste the messy list]. Compare the plan with the record. Tell me what I hit, what I missed, and what unplanned work still counts.
Now separate the unfinished work into three groups: finish next, deliberately stop, and reconsider later. Recommend one item to carry forward based on the value already created, not just how long it has been on the list.
Goal: launch the membership, send weekly emails, and finish six course modules. Record: soft-launched to twelve people, sent nine emails, completed four modules, and made an unplanned free resource. The audit counts the launch and email goals, names the two unfinished modules, and recognizes the free resource as valuable unplanned work.
